Monday Motivation (Because We Need It)

Happy Monday, gals! How was the weekend? I had family in town, so my weekend featured lots of feasting, all the baby cuddles, and stepping on more toys than you can possibly imagine. Real life, am I right?

I thought it might be the perfect time to refresh our minds and spirits with some wise words from a few of my favorite gals. So let's soak in some wisdom and prepare for badassery this week (badassery isn't a word, but neither was anything before language was invented, so I'll just keep using it).

"Integrate what you believe into every single area of your life. Take your heart to work, and ask the most and best of everybody else, too."

                                           -Meryl Streep

If you want something said, ask a man. If you want something done, ask a woman.
— Margaret Thatcher

"Great people do things before they're ready. They do things before they know they can do it."

-Amy Poehler

You can be miserable before you eat a cookie, you can being miserable after eating a cookie, but you can never be miserable while you’re eating a cookie.
— Ina Garten

"You can't be that kid standing at the top of the water slide, overthinking it. You have to go down the chute."

-Tina Fey
